1 I would second the idea that you need more memory, and add that you may
need more disk space or need to get people to throw stuff out.

But temper the decision to buy anything with knowledge of how your RAM/HD
resources are being use with performance monitoring software. Or even just
listening to hear if the drive is thrashing or not.

NT wants about 10% of the partition to be free space. It will post 1 warning
to the event log that you have gone over the limit. If you do not have
enough room it may run into problems updating the Mac index precipitating
the slow downs.

2 We had a problem with our SMTP gateway that would hose everyone up. A
quick solution to that problem was to trash any server volumes on the
desktop. We eventually abandoned MS Mail for exchange, to get rid of the
problem, and meet corporate standards.
