Subject: Re: Mac to PC and Back for PC novice

As far as mac to pc and back, I was wondering if anyone could help a
little more .. what i have is a G3/266 on our lan here at home. We
have a win95 and this mac networked with a unix box running redhat v5.0
which is serving as our gateway. Everything works fine as far as the
Mac being able to see and access the internet and drives on the win95
machine, the unix box and the laptop when it's connected, and i can
print locally to my laser writer connected to my Mac.
The hangup is that when i'm using VirtualPC, i can't get the Mac to
print to the LaserWriter, nor can i access the HP Deskjet870Cxi
connected to the win95 machine (which i can see in the network
neighborhood). The Win95 machine doesn't even see the LaserWriter let
alone be able to access it. In order to print anything, i need to not
be using Virtual PC/Win95 and can only print to the LaserWriter.
Am i missing something along the way? Some type of set up on the Win95
or Virtual PC side in order to access either of the printers?
TIA
