Geez mon, there's so much talk about DAVE around here, but almost
nothing about PCMacLAN, which is the Windows equivalent. (i know i
know, i just recommended them, but i swear, i'm not a shill for them.
In fact, i've only barely used their product. :) (But there's a free
demo version available at http://miramarsys.com/ ;) (Heck, they should
give me a copy for all the free advertising i'm giving them.)
So here's my solution: Share your Mac's hard drive using File Sharing.
Buy PCMacLAN for your PC. Use PCMacLAN to mount the Mac's hard drive on
the PC. Buy cheap tape drive for PC. Backup Mac's hard drive.
Voila! (Or as i used to think it was spelled: Viola!)
