I was hoping to be able to use VPC for some CAD and other engineering
work.
I've tried Autocad on it as a compatibilty test and, in comparison to my
Pentium 133 laptop, VPC is about half as fast - which still impresses
me. However since I will be doing a lot of high-end CAD work I'm
probably going to go the OrangeMicro route and get one of their 300 Mhz
550 boards when they start shipping.
