Who is managing the NT box to assign shares? If it is set up so that
anyone who creates a folder on the server is the only one that has read
or write rights to it you are set, if they or you are manually
asssigning rights that has to be taken care of.
For the Macs there are three easy answers.
1. Create an alias on the desktop so that the students can merely
double-click it to bring up the logon dialogue box.
2. After successfully logging on hte fist time your server should show
up in the recent servers section under the apple menu if you are running
7.5 or later.
3. When setting up the connection to the server for the first time check
in the box that says reconnect at startup and then dialogue box will
show up when everyone boots.
