    the other option is to hook the 5m up to your xp box, share the printer and use OSX with GIMP PRINT to print to it over ethernet. I share a HP deskjet 970CXI that way hooked up to an '98 machine....works like a charm...

    But this is only good if you have OSX, OS9 is another story where a jetdirect box would be great....
