I am using The Bat! However, I both have Outlook Express, Opera and
Outlook 97 on my computer as well. In theory, I could import to one of
these clients and then re-export if necessary, so the final product
ended in a format that The Bat! could handle, if necessary. I don't
know if anyone on the list uses The Bat! so I will give you the
following information. When I go to Tools --> Import messages, the
menu has the options of importing from .MSG, UNIX mailboxes, .MSB or
proprietary .TBB formats. There is also an "import wizard" that can
handle the following formats: Outlook Express or MS Mail 4.xx, OE 5,
Netscape Communicator 4.x, Netscape Mail 2.x or 3.x, Eudora Lite/Pro
or Pegasus Mail 2.x or 3.x.

How do you line end convert and with what program?
