Here is our setup for those curious...

We are running Virex 6.1 on all Mac clients. This is set to eupdate every
month from an internal FTP server that I download the current monthly file
to.

On the windows side we use NAI VirusScanner on all PC clients, as well as
GroupShield on all fileservers and their Exchange product on our Mail
servers. This scans all File servers and Mail servers in realtime and
alerts mail users to virus or unsupported file extensions in the email
itself. It puts the offending files in a quarantine area that we cna then
get to if needed. Has worked pretty well for us.
