I'd like to know if anyone on the list has experience or ideas for a process which might allow the creation of PDF documents from files containing HPGL data.

We have files generated by simulations which are normally sent to HP LaserJet printers for printing. These files contain HPGL (HP Graphics Language) commands and produce complex graphical output. Since our technical reports are almost entirely being created in electronic form and ultimately available as PDF documents, I was hoping to find a mechanism (other than scanning the hard copies) for creating PDF pages from these files.

Are there any products on the market or in the archives which will interpret HPGL commands, and create a file which could lead to a matching PDF document?

All ideas and leads would be appreciated.
