    I haven't done this, but have used IRDA to transfer files on Macs and
    print via PC's. PC file transfer is possible as there are IRDA network
    drivers on PC's with irda ports.

    It _should_ be possible...the question is if VPC has the IRDA drivers
    available. You might try installing generic ones off a WIndows disk ,if
    such exist...

    The other option is to download DAVE from Thursby Systems, get the trial
       registration number which gets you 30 days of use and use that.

    Again, I've not tried running this over IR, but I don't see why this
    shouldn't work.
