    Dan-I certainly agree with your point that FireWire isn't perfect.
    However, the SCSI punchbowl is pretty well populated with large,
    steaming, odoriferous turds...if I had a dollar for every hour I had to
    troubleshoot SCSI driver, cable, termination (ad nauseam) problems. I'd
    be very, very comfortably retired.
