[WinMac] Canon printer preferences file error/freezing on iMac

    Hello,

    I'm trying to help out my friend's father who has an iMac. I know a
    little about Macs, but am much more skilled on PCs.

    He has a Canon MultiPass C635 printer. He started getting an error,
    something like "Preferences file error -192" or -199 or something like
    that and sometimes the computer freezes when he goes to print. I found
    the preferences file through Sherlock, deleted it and everything worked
    fine until the computer froze again when going to print. I uninstalled
    the printer and reinstalled it only to have the problem ensue.

    Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix this problem for good?

    Any help would be appreciated.
