    Chers confréres,

    We're soon going to need an A3 colour printing capability (low use, partly
    for colour inserts in laser-printed reports, partly for reasonable-quality
    proofs of pages that will be sent out for magazine-quality printing. The
    former will come from Windows machines (mixed W95 and W2k), the latter from
    InDesign on a G4 Mac, all through a network run by an NT4 server. Throughput
    is likely to be a few hundred pages per month.

    The simplest choice at present looks like an HP Deskjet 1220PS hooked up via
    JetDirect. I'd be grateful for any comments, suggested alternatives, etc.
