We were using Retrospect Remote for our old Macintosh servers. We changed
them to an NT box in October of 1998 and started using Arcserve. The
biggest difference that I have come across is that I can't seem to get
Arcserve to recreate the catalog from a tape. If the monthly backup catalog
is accidentally deleted, there seems to be no way to use the data on the
tape. The manual for Retrospect is not clear on how to do it and, after
several tries, I have had to tell some users to "Rebuild it".
