    Hi Bob,

    This is a long shot, but it could have to do with how your Mac sends
    authentication information to the W2K server. Do you use the UAM (user
    authentication module) that comes with Services for Macintosh or do you rely
    on the built-in UAM in the Mac OS?

    There could also be issues with locking on the network because you can save
    the first time but not after that (that is what you meant by 'resaving',
    right?). Try this: when you get the message see if you can save as another
    format on the network drive ... if it works, you need to look at the 'range
    locking' on your server.

    Last but not least, check to make sure that the total length of the path you
    are saving to is not longer than 255 characters and does not contain illegal
    characters. Somehow I don't think that's the problem because you can save
    once. But still, check it out...
