[WinMac] Can't resave Word2001 docs on Win2K server

In a folder on a Win2K server on which I have Full Control, and to which I
can store documents, create documents, and re-save documents (including
Excel and PowerPoint) except for Microsoft Word 2001 documents. Another
user with the same privileges to his folder has the same problem. Happens
when accessing via DAVE, Microsoft UAM, and Apple UAM:

[Dialog title:] Microsoft Word [Text:] Word cannot save or create this file.
The disk may be full or write-protected. Try one or more of the following:
*Free more memory. * Make sure that the disk you want to save the file on is
not full, write-protected, or damaged. (myFilename.doc) [button:] OK

I originally set up the parent share (of the subfolder) as a Macintosh share
(as well as it being a Windows share), but subsequently removed Macintosh
sharing from it, leaving it as a Windows share (only), as well as having
turned off, and finally uninstalling Apple file services, thinking that
different types of permissions (Mac vs. Win2K) might be the problem.
Problem persists. I've recreated the structure and the problem doesn't
happen. Anyone have a clue what is causing the problem? thanks

Bob
