    I'm helping out a non-profit & learning a little about Mac's
    as well.

They need a file & printer sharing solution to allow visitors with
WinDoze laptops access to share files and printers. It should
run on the OS9 G4, requiring no added laptop sw. Layer 1 includes
the Cat-5 network and hopefully 802.11b via a UFO err Airport.

Looking at both archives here and macwindows.com, it appears
the choices include Dave and Appleshare.

Now, I don't see any reason to prefer TCP/IP or NetBeui over
Appletalk; speed's not a big issue and the 100BaseT network is
lightly loaded. The server now has 300+ meg of RAM, but it does run
EIMS, Webstar, and Liststar. There are less than 10 Mac clients.

Cost is an issue, but so is usability. Are there clear
[dis]advantages to one or the other of these, or am I overlooking
a third solution that will do it all for me?

Are there trusted reviews I've missed that I should see?
