Maybe with your email program but not with Netscape. I tried both
clicking on the attach button and also dragging the shortcut file to the
email and it still attaches the rdisk.exe file instead of the shortcut file.

It is a shortcut to a the file, rdisk.exe that every Windows NT user has
in their c:\winnt\system32\ folder so that's not an issue.

Someone sent me an email about Aelita's ERDisk at http://www.aelita.com.
It does automated, over-the-network ERD backups to both the local
machine's hard drive and a central network repository. They have a
30-day, 5-station demo available for download. Perhaps a bit overkill
but intriguing.
