    Michael,

    On my G4 there's a white sticker on the back of the computer underneath
    where the power cord plugs in. The sticker has two rows of bar coding
    along with the text and Arabic numerals for the machine's serial number
    and the Ethernet ID number. Hopefully, your sticker wasn't removed
    during inspection.

    Is one of these the serial number you need?
