NTS, recently acquired by Efficient Networks, has a VPN product called
TunnelBuilder. They have their own VPN server product called TunnelMaster
but the client is apparently the only one for the Mac which supports the
popular PPTP and L2TP protocols (what WinNT's VPN server uses). One nice
thing about NTS's stuff is if you use their VPN server, it will encapsulate
AppleTalk. We don't use their VPN server so I don't have personal
experience with that feature.

TunnelBuilder is not nearly as nice as Microsoft's VPN client for Windows.
TunnelBuilder has to be your PPP client so to switch between using the VPN
requires disconnecting entirely. The same is true with the TunnelBuilder
LAN client for cable modem/DSL/Ethernet users, switching between VPN and
straight Internet requires breaking the connection. I use Local Manager to
make the switch a bit easier.
Over the years there have been a number of changes to how you can get
TunnelBuilder. Currently individual copies are $99 but I think if you
purchase 50 or more copies it's about $50/unit. As a comparison, PGP
Personal Privacy for Mac includes PGPnet which is a IPSec VPN client and
costs about $20.
