Easiest way I have done it is to use the utility from Dataviz on Windows
called Conversions+. What I typically do is transfer all user files to a
Zip disk. I have 2 drives, a SCSI one and a Parrallel port model (guess I
should add USB to that as well). I simply use the guest program, pop the
files onto a PC formated Zip disk fro mthe Mac, then use conversions plus on
windows to bulk transfer/rename/add extensions to the files. I then also
run a neat utility from within conversions plus that will scour a directory
for illegal names and also perform the above conversion on files. Takes
about 20 minutes in all, and I have moved several people using older Macs to
new PC's. Thankfully going the other way is MUCH simpler as you don;t have
to worry about naming and such, just the actuall move.
