    Agreed, if you go into windows setup from the add/remove software control
    panel, and go to the communications section, you will see a direct connect
    option, once installed on both machines, you can use a serial null modem
    cable and start one machine (server) then the other (client) and directly
    copy files back and forth. Works like a charm!
