            Rick,

            We need a bit more info to help you!

            Here's a quickie checklist...

            1) Reapply SP6a, especially after adding a new service (like SFM);

            2) Don't create/use a Mac share at the root of a volume;

            3) Disable License Logging Service;

            4) Shut down all of those goofy OEM hardware monitoring services...
    Hewlett-Packard's are the worst, with Compaq's not far behind;

            5) If you're using an Intel 8255x-based NIC (or if the MLB has one soldered
    in) then go to <http://www.intel.com> and download version 3.5 of their
    driver;

            6) If you're using a "white box" (generic pee-cee) be sure at least the
    motherboard is on Microsoft's Hardware Compatibility List (HCL);

            7) If all else fails, try upgrading to Windows 2000 Server... But then
    again, if you're BSOD'ing, then upgrading to Win2k may only compound the
    problems.

            Cheers!
            Dan Schwartz
