[WinMac] saving to shared file server gets blue screen

Every time we save a file larger than 750 K to our shared Windows Mac file
server (win NT 4.0, SFM 6) we get the blue screen of death. We've checked
the network cards, reinstalled everything, etc. What are we doing wrong?
