Next message: Brian Durant: "[WinMac] BBEdit style program for Windows?"
Ahhh, this one's like shooting turkeys in a barrel... Toast 2.0 or higher
will create an ISO 9660 CD, just perfect for the Windows users. Toast 3.0
or higher will also create "hybrid" ISO/HFS CD's, where the Windows stuff
shows up to the PC users, the Mac stuff shows up for the Macs... And the
common data shows up in BOTH machines!
Buy a SCSI card and use a SCSI CD/R instead: It will cost less overall,
and be more robust. In fact, I recommend booting up with no, or VERY
minimal (on a G3/G4) Extensions while assembling the data and burning disks.
[BTW, I remember paying $1300 for my first CD/R, a Ricoh 1060, back in
October 1994... And paying $12 per blank CD, too!]
Cheers!
