As a Mac user running Office 98, I exchange documents all the time with PC
users running both Office 97 and Office 2000. Give Microsoft good marks here
for cross-platform compatibility.
As far as HTML tools go, Front Page was last developed for the Mac years
ago. It's primitive in comparison to what's available today. The latest
version of FrontPage for PCs has some non-standard features compared to
other HTML editors (e.g. DreamWeaver, GoLive, etc.).
