have you deleted the stuff in your user profile, like your cache file
and suchlike? Netscape Communicator acted like that once (on a PC) until
I dug in and deleted the mail indexes.

There's really nothing I could think of in the _system_ that would cause
Explorer, and only Explorer to crash.
