[WinMac] printer offline question

We have a Unity 1200XL which is set up with an AppleTalk port etc. etc. to our NT Server.

It worked fine initially, then a few days ago it just started queueing up jobs but not printing them. When I try to print it gives me 'printer offline' messages despite the fact that the printer has just been turned on and its message indicator does not say anyhing about being offline...

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. I could not find anything in printer settings...I seem to recall seeing something about MacPrint somewhere on this list, would that help?

Our Tek Phaser 780 on the same LAN, also connected via an Appletalk port , is not showing any similar problems that I know of. Could it be the Unity's Appletalk port that is the problem??

I'm relatively new to Mac/NT/Windows printing issues.

Thank you!!

:) tom
