I just ordered an Acard ATA/66 for my Pulsar (the Firewire alternative
doesn't seem to be that great at this time as you can't boot from a drive
connected to a third party Firewire card) and I am about to order a 24 GB
ATA/66 drive. Now I realize that I need the following information:

1) What is the largest partition that OS 8.6 or 9 allows?
2) SoftRaid/CharisMac Raid are not yet compatible with IDE drives. Are there
alternatives out there? Any URLs?

I have a UMAX Pulsar (Euro S900) and am running OS 8.6 (Z)
