Team ASA, Inc., is shipping copper gigabit ethernet adapters for the
Macintosh. The Copper Stallion GT II uses Category 5 cabling with an
operating distance range of 100 meters. This will allow network
administrators to use existing cabling, which will ease the transition
to Gigabit Ethernet and reduce installation time and set up costs.

Like the Stallion GE II fiber adapter, the Stallion GT II copper adapter

is powered by onboard dual 32 bit RISC processors and can be configured
for Jumbo Frames to optimize transmit and receive paths.
