C'mon Dan,

You blow a fuse over this autostart issue that takes, what, 10 seconds, to
fix, but just the other day you calmly instruct someone to re-apply Service
Pack 5 to fix a problem they're having. This takes AT LEAST 30 minutes at
best (with backing up first like you're supposed to), and at worst can
cause a complete breakdown requiring reinitialization of the hard drive and
reinstallation of the OS (we've all heard the horror stories).

Why should this person have to re-apply service pack 5 if he already
applied it once? HOW STUPID CAN MICROSOFT'S PROGRAMMERS BE? Haven't you
heard of QUALITY CONTROL?!

Your vitriol is inversely proportional to your credibility.
