i'm not an applescript programmer...

i would like to find or receive one tiny applescript that does the following:

1. check if the mac has internet explorer, netscape navigator, or netscape communicator installed
2. launch the first of those browsers that it finds
3. open index.html in that browser...

this applescript should launch when the cd is placed in the mac...

i've looked at several applescript sites, they are all about cgi etc., which i don't need...

i need an applescript so that i can make a cd with toast such that toast will make the cd to autostart this applescript app -- has to be an executable, can't be a file...don't want to use quick time cuz of the autoplay virus scare...

i'm not a mac person...there aren't any other resources in my company, they know less than i do, smile!!

off to read help files...if i can find them!!!!!!!!

:) tom
