        Dear Tom,

        Autostart is enabled & disabled in the QuickTime Control Panel... But
there's a known bug that was entered with - And acknowledged by - Apple 19
months ago when the AutoStart 9805 worm came out. Apple claimed they fixed
it by setting the default to *DISABLE* autoplay in the QT3 control panel.

        Guess what?

        I just took delivery at a customer site YESTERDAY of a G4/400 Sawtooth
w/MacOS9... And in my initial setup, the QuickTime Control Panel had
autoplay ENABLED.

        Those assholes...
