[WinMac] Continuation of my G4 experience

Here is a (possibly unwanted and off-topic) update of my experiences with my
new G4.

The video problem with my KVM switch was solved by putting in the PCI card
from my old 8600 and putting the AGP card that came with the G4 on my
bookshelf. Does anyone know offhand if this card has WindowsNT drivers
available?

I have ordered one of the suggested USB<->ADB converters and pending its
arrival am working with two keyboards.

The G4 is pretty fast. My benchmarking application is a data analysis
packaged used by several faculty within our department, called PAUP. I have
no control over this applications code and have no idea what optimizations
it may or may not be compiled with so this is a seat of the pants benchmark
that reflects our use of computers, your mileage will vary. I run one
instance of PAUP on the G4/450 and 2 instances on my dual Celeron 550
workstation. Each celeron runs the app at about 2/3 the speed of the G4, so
for our most important app the G4 is roughly equivilent to a single Celeron
at 800 or 850. Unfortunatly, when you consider the fact that 2 1/2 similar
celeron workstations can be built for the same cost as the Mac, it's not so
pretty anymore. Photoshop benchmarks are under deliberation. Note that for
our application we get near linear speedup for the second processor, this is
not typical of applications designed to be multithreaded and work with
multiple processors.
