Dan,

Although I don't have an Athlon system myself (yet) I have been reading
reports on a linux list I listen too and there have been numerous complaints
about the FIC board. The complaints centered around the Athlons power
appetite and the recommended solution was a very good, minimum 300 watt
power supply. I do plan to build an Athlon machine within the next three
months, so I would enjoy hearing any reports of success/failure you can
offer.
