        Actually, I fixed it pretty easily from the BSOD screen: I had SCSI
drivers loading which I've since removed the offending adapter. I yanked
out the Symbios, AdapCrap 7880, and QLogic drivers from
%systemroot%\system32\drivers and the problem went away...

        Gee, just like a Mac: A f**king Extension conflict! :)

        ...And this physician needs to heal himself: I didn't do
RDISK /S before starting the update!

        [Fortunately for me, I keep a second instance of NT on my System partition
so I can manually repair/recover/yada yada yada my main installation... See
my .SIG for my system configuration... I just LOVE lots of RAM!]
