        Actually, it's not THAT bad: I set this chap up with a 1 gig drive broken
into 4 partitions, so indeed I *can* install a minimal 8.0 or 8.1 on a
separate partition and switch-boot using Silver Volumes (part of LaCie
Silverlining) to hide his normal boot partition at startup...

        BUT, he's still on the hook - Maybe - for both the Mac and NT versions of
Quicken 2k...
