I have a SkyTel Motorola 2000X pager and can configure it to send outbound
FAXes if I give the pager an outbound FAX e-mail address. I've looked at
Fax4free and a couple others but they are all browser access since they
display ads whole you are filling out the form. Does anyone know of a free
or low cost (charged by FAX and no monthly fee) outbound FAX server I can
send an e-mail to?

Thanks!

Have you tried <http://www.efax.com>? But I don't know if you're
going to find a fax service that doesn't charge a monthly fee... I
think efax charges $3 which is nominal.

What Fax4free does is put ads in the 1.25" left- and right-hand
margins of your sent fax.

I work in a mixed WinNT/Mac environment with both platforms accessing
the same NT server just fine. We have SFM installed on the server.
However with all the talk recently about getting Macs and Windows
computers to share things I thought I'd try something I'd been thinking
about for some time now. On a Windows NT workstation you can install
the AppleTalk protocol. I've just done that but I can't see where it's
made any difference. That NT workstation still can't see my Macs nor
can my Macs see that NT workstation.

Just what is the AppleTalk protocol in NT suppose to do for me?

The AppleTalk protocol under Windows NT 4.0 Workstation allows the machine
to basically see and share AppleTalk printers. And that's about it. It
makes for a handy backup printer server however...
