The knowledge base stuff at the Microsoft site is good.

I'm on an NT list at work that is specific to the library environment. I
haven't really gone looking for other lists. But I'm sure they are there. I
wouldn't be surprised if the Microsoft site lists them. The Apple site
certainly lists the Mac lists.

For starters, I wouldn't try installing NT on a larger partition. Set it up
so you have a smaller partition for the system and a larger partition for
other things. I'm not totally up on the details, but there are apparently
some serious problems with the boot sector when NT is installed in partitions
that are too large. In particular, updating to SP4 on a system that
previously appeared to be running alright, can trash the system.

Partitian Magic can redo things on an already set up system.
