Re: [WinMac] Just Getting Started, please help

I'm a fairly hearty recommender of the combination of a mac server and Apple Share IP 6.2. It's incredibly easy to set up ( I managed it without even having done it before or reading the manual, and this was with Windows sharing too), and so far seems pretty relaible, although it's early days for me to say it works perfectly. I've had two lock ups in two weeks, but I think these are teething problems which I can sort out rather than inherent faults with the software. Microsoft Office needs to be updated to Service Release 2 to be compatible but apart from that, I'm not aware of any other problems. Basically if the Macs don't NEED to be on the same server as the PC's then definitely go for a Mac Server; it'll pay dividends in the long run.
Cheers, Dan Thurgood
