I'm having trouble with the "HotSync" function between my Palm IIIx and a
new Mac PowerBook G3. The PowerBook freezes every time I try to HotSync the
two. I'm using the Keyspan USB-PDA adapter to connect the two.

Any thoughts?

Try this. It might work it might not, sorry. Go into your hot sync
manager and lower your connection speed. Change it from as fast as
possible to like 38400.

I'd like to know if that worked or not.

Good luck.

Take a look at NetSwitcher http://www.netswitcher.com/
is does not handle everything that location Manager does
on the Mac, but it handles switching all the network
related functions very nicely. I have been using it
for several years it is updated regularly and the
author is responsive to feature requests. The program
is shareware, but the fee is only $8.00, it is a great
buy.
