        Dear Michael,

Actually, this scenario is quite common, because if a PDC goes down any
BDC can be promoted to PDC. Then when the original PDC comes back on line,
just re-promote the original PDC back "up" and demote the promoted BDC back
to BDC status. Please read the Micros~1 KB articles at:

If the links don't work, go to:
<http://support.microsoft.com/support/search/c.asp> and perform an advanced
search about:

1. Windows NT Server 4.0
2. Asking a question using a free text query
3) My question is: How do I promote a BDC to a PDC?

        Cheers!
        Dan
