Our Telecommunications department runs an IBM minicomputer that
controls the magnetic ID-reading door locks on many campus buildings and
facilities. They supply some PC-based software which uses TCP/IP to allow
users to add/delete Student ID's to/from the list and to change the
lock/unlock schedule on the doors. They don't supply Mac software. Would
a product such as SoftWindows 98 allow our secretary's Power PC to look
like a PC to the windows software? Are there any other alternatives?
