It appears that Philip already has DAVE installed on the Macs, and so
installing PCMacLAN or COPSTalk would be redundant - you only need the Macs
to talk Microsoft Networking (ie, DAVE) or the Wintel to talk AppleTalk,
NOT both.

It would appear then, that problem is either that DAVE is not configured
correctly on the Macs, OR, Microsoft Networking is not configured correctly
on the Wintel.

Can you give us some idea of how you have configured the networking on both
sides?
