Speaking on online shopping, I do a lot of it and have never gotten
burned. On the other hand, I got $2000, the limit on a check card, stolen
from me when it was shipped to me from the bank...

That's not the point of this post though, check out www.outpost.com for
online shopping policices, privacy, etc. They are one of the best online
shopping centers and now have free shipping and lots of other goodies.
They would be a good resource for your hunt.
