hi all,

Those who repeatedly "rant" about a particular platform/OS tend to have
their comments discounted by a whopping percent, whereas those whose views
are more balanced tend to be taken seriously.

Having said that, I must admit that I gain considerable amusement from the
"one-eyed" gang even though I take little notice of their views. If one is
irritated by such rants, it's very easy to filter them out.

One of the chief offenders in this respect does, by the way, give freely
and generously of his (considerable) technical expertise. Surely, a small
price to pay for the rants?
