Dear All
further to the recent posts, I reinstalled Outlook (hey, I'm not going to
delete a 30 Meg download that took a few hours and three attempts) using a
FULL install rather than the other options.

I then copied my address book, personal folders, Schedule and offline
folders to the new Outlook folder. Hey presto, I have the Calendar (in a
diary rather than an in-box format) and I can synchronise folders.

Regarding my DAVE problem, I worked out that I only had trouble when I was
printing. So I disable Desktop printing and went back to printmonitor by
itself. The problem seems to have gone away. Has anyone else had trouble
with DAVE and desktop printing. Anyone from Thursby on the list care to
comment.

Also: I read the post regarding the SLPP and DNS extensions and the new
network browser. What are these extensions and do I need them to connect
(better) to my NT server. Do they do a similar thing to DAVE or what?
Please enlighten me.

Oh, and Alex, I am sure nobody took your request for assistance with a
flashing question mark too seriously.

Thanks - I really learn heaps from this list!!

Regards

Hamish Blair
