At the risk of asking the obvious for those who are only able to see
Calendar data in a mailbox style, is it possible that a "Minimum Install"
option was chose when MS Outlook was loaded? If memory serves, the minimum
install option yields only e-mail support and a complete install is needed
to get the full-featured Calendar.

The second thing I have noticed is that I could only open the Appt. Book
style calendar from the Outlook Bar. Since I normally have that view
disabled, there was no one-step way to open the Calendar, not even a menu
item as far as I could tell. To make it a bit easier, I used "Customize
Toolbar" command to add a Calendar button to the Outlook client's main
toolbar.

One last nagging problem is that appointment/event notification is only made
if the Calendar is open. Even if Outlook is running, I won't be alerted to
a scheduled meeting unless I have the Calendar window open. No problem, I
think, just keep it open so that it opens each time on Outlook startup.
Bzztt! The Calendar window must be opened manually with each Outlook
startup. Unlike other windows, Calendar doesn't re-open to its last state.
