Darron,

The Power Macintosh is a workgroup server 7350/180. For back up power
supply I have a Tripp-Lite SmartPro 1050 and all indications from the unit
are good, no interruptions to the power supply.

Theresa,

This does not sounds like a software problem. What type of Power Macintosh?
Is it a 6100, 7100, 8500, 9500... you get the idea.

This could be something as simple as the battery on the logic board needing
replacement, or something as complicated as an intermittent electrical
failure.
