        Dear John,

        May I suggest you set your listserv preferences to individual, as opposed
to digest? I've noticed that among the 3 listserv's I subscribe to, each of
them mangles messages in the "digester" as they try to squeeze everything
into an 80 character window.

        [Note to Darryl: What is the command to turn OFF DIGEST mode... It's *not*
in the FAQ.]

        May I also suggest Eudora Pro 3.x for either Mac, windoze, and NT: You can
set up filters for each listserv and divert the traffic into a separate
mailbox.
